Service Description
PCDC stands for phosphatidylcholine deoxycholic acid, which is the active ingredient in a non-surgical, minimally invasive cosmetic treatment called PCDC lipolysis. PCDC lipolysis is a fat-dissolving injection that breaks down fat cells in targeted areas of the body, such as the chin, hips, knees, stomach, thighs, and back. The treatment is also known as liquid lipo, mesotherapy, or PCDC injections. PCDC lipolysis works by injecting a solution of phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate into the treatment area. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. In PCDC lipolysis, a synthetic version of deoxycholic acid is used to cause fat cells to become inflamed and hardened, which the body then breaks down. The fat is gradually liquefied and removed by the body's natural processes. PCDC lipolysis is considered safe, but it's not suitable for everyone. You should not get PCDC injections if you are: Pregnant, Breastfeeding, Have lipodystrophy, Have skin diseases or infections, and Have any medical condition that affects fat processing in your body. Some common side effects of PCDC injections include redness, swelling, stinging, bruising, and general soreness that may last a few days after the procedure.
