How to Protect Your Results
Aftercare for Filler
Your results don’t just depend on the injector, how you care for your skin after your appointment matters just as much. Following these guidelines will help minimize swelling and bruising while ensuring your filler lasts as long as possible
Aftercare Instructions:
Keep the treated area clean and avoid touching or massaging unless instructed by your provider.
Apply a cool compress in short intervals to reduce swelling during the first 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot tubs for 24–48 hours.
Stay upright for at least 4 hours after treatment to allow filler to settle properly.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and salty foods for the first two days to minimize swelling.
Skip makeup for 24 hours to lower the risk of irritation or infection.
Use gentle skincare products; avoid harsh scrubs, retinols, and acids for 3–5 days.
Protect your skin from direct sun and always wear sunscreen.
Minor swelling or bruising is normal and typically resolves in a few days.
